I cut the plugs off of my 60T3 and my extension cable, leaving about 1'/30cm of
cable on the plug. I put mini (1/8" / 3.2mm) 3-cond plugs on the plug ends,
and mini inline jacks on the 60T3 control end and the socket end of the
extension cable. Kind of backward from what you would expect, but this lets me
put both plugs in my 620 bodies, and then connect the other ends of the cables
together with a "stereo coupler". I can also connect them together with a
"stereo splitter", which has two mini sockets and a mini plug, and then connect
the 60T3 to the mini plug, so I can use either of the cameras' shutter releases
or the 60T3. It all works perfectly.
