Has anyone tried triggering 2 identical cameras using the same IR remote
control ?
How about using 2 electrical relays - one to trigger each camera, both
relays powered by the same switch.
Having 2 seperate relays (or 2 seperate pairs of relays, 1 relay each for
half press and full press) will isolate the circuits of the 2 cameras from
each other, while still enabling them to be fired simultaneously with one
switch.
The concept of relays should be simple enough even for those who don't have
much experience with electronics.
In a related issue,
The half press and full press action can be simulated by 2 seperate
switches/relays.
My homemade cable release remote control has 2 seperate switches next to
each other in the casing of the remote. The switches can be individually or
simultaneously depressed using only one thumb.
Cheers,
