Thanks Julian. Very interesting read. Nice to hear pro's experiences are
similar to mine with the 100-400. Not so with the EOS 3 however. Of course
I don't have the depth of experience or near as much access to other
equipment on which to base a comparison, but sure don't have any complaints
about AF speed or target/subject acquisition when using the center focus
point on the EOS 3, (and 1v) as was mentioned.
