Well I want to shoot more closeup 'distorted' dogs photos, but I want to
keep their noses in focus, and I find minimum focus distance to be not quite
short enough with this lens for that purpose.
Therefore I'm going to get an extension tube, or likely a set of tubes.
What I want to know is if the Kenko extension tube set will keep autofocus
and proper aperture. Of course I want to use the extension tubes on my other
Canon lenses to enable closer macro work as well.
Also, I'd like to know more about Canon's variable extension tube. How
does it work, and is it worth having. I'd prefer not to have to change
tubes, but would like a full range so I can go closer, closer, and real
close :-)
However the Kenko set is reasonably priced, and if they do the job,
would be fine with me...
