Gary,
I just looked through my old filter collection and I have here two old
Hoya Skylight 1A filters. I also have one Image Skylight 1A. For the record
I have one Hoya 1A from 1970 with 'Skylight 1A' printed in red, and another
mid 80s vintage Hoya 1A with normal white lettering.
So, Gary, your memory is working very well indeed! I hope this put your
mind at ease.
