RE: EOS When to use a UV Filter.

I have seen "flare" in my 70-200 f2.8 in strong backlight situations.
I was aiming towards a dark forest with the hood protecting all
glass but the sun was shining on the inside of the hood. Then
the whole viewfinder had a faint glow from the sun. It seems that
the surface of the hood is to reflective.
