Next month will be Tripod Month.
I'm looking for a relatively cheap and easily transportable tripod for my
100-400/4.5-5.6L IS Lens.
I don't think I need the Kirk BH-1 Ball Head ($$$ and heavy).
I was thinking of the following:
Bogen (Manfrotto) 3001Pro (new model) Tripod Legs
Bogen (Manfrotto) 308 ProBall
Kirk QR-1 Quick Release Platform
Kirk Lens Plate for the 100-400/4.5-5.6L IS Lens
Kirk Lens Plate for the Elan 7e camera (for the 20/2.8 and the
28-135/3.5-5.6 IS).
What do you think?
