I'm with Skip on this. I have both lenses and this is the reason why, the
28-135 is a really useful travel/muck around lens. The extra focal length
and lighter weight are the two main issues. I have to travel really light
on occasions and I take only this lens on a body without booster, although
if I can tuck the 20/2.8 in a pocket somewhere I will.
