If you shoot at close range, head on, you're asking for it a little. World
class racing drivers have come to accept that they will get flashed at at
night races/rally stages, and I only tend to shoot side on as otherwise the
headlights are a metering nightmare anyway and flare dreadfully.

That said I wouldn't practice on the public highway, which is half the
problem as you have to work on the technique somehow!

Anyone actually managed to work the strobe effect controllably?
