Hi Julian,

I've shot out of helicopters on Maui (a friend of mine is a helicopter pilot
there), with the doors off and with the doors on and never used an IS lens.
I would think that a chopper would be the worst type of aircraft to shoot
from since the whole thing is one big vibrator! My best images were
captured with the doors off but the wind turbulence can be a big problem
sometimes. But I suppose that the wind is a better problem to have compared
to all the darned reflections you get off of the plex that surrounds you in
a helicopter. As to camera shake I didn't have any problems with it but I
was shooting in clear weather with ISO 100 films and slightly faster shutter
speeds than I would have used handheld on the ground.
