What type of aerial jobs? Air to air? air to ground? are you expected to pull any Gs? With faster shutter speed, you may get good result without IS, but if you are pulling Gs the IS stabilizing actuators may not be able to compensate and the pies sensors may get really confused. If you must have stable result, the best bet is the very expensive mechanical gyro stabilizers made by a company called KenLab (no relationship), it's a small grapefruit size unit that requires plenty battery power and is attached to the bottom of the camera, it works extremely well, I've seen photos taken at 1/60 sec that is perfectly blur free except the prop has made at least a full 360 degree rotation. Very impressive but you are paying for it.
