Although the Canon doesn't have as much zoom, the focusing speed is much quicker and also allows for Full-Time manual focusing. Since it uses the 77mm filters, the same filters can be used if one owns a 70-200 2.8L or a 17-35 2.8L. Oh yeah, Canon's prettier and has a better build. :)
I've got to mention as well, the 28-70 focal length is the least used (for me anyways). I always get ultra close or kinda far away. I do use it for landscapes because it's the sharpest of those three lenses. yen p.s. 82mm filter size is too big and expensive for me > I'd like to hear about this lens from someone who has used the EF 28-70 2.8 > L and Tamron 28-105 2.8 and compared their trannies side by side too. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
