Hey Peter,

Thanks.  I am wanting this lens to use in conjuction with the new 16-35
2.8L on my D-30.  It sounds like it will be a good les for this...the AF
on the D-30 sucks anyway so no big deal if the lens AF is slow.  LOL

Actually the poor AF on the D-30 is my only real gripe with that
camera...other than that I love it.

So how slow is the AF?  Is the lens a USM type or some other kind?
