And be prepared to shell out a lot of money, then.
To rival images from a D60, you need drum scans, 8000 dpi
from a desktop scanner is not enough to beat it.

If you don't own a drum scanner yourselves, the calculation
looks far worse regarding film and processing cost.
Drum scans for the full bulk of your professional work 
can be ruinous, and I rather work for my own income than
for that of a digital service bureau.
