When I first got my EOS 30, it had no battery grip and the lightweight
kit 28-90m lens. Everyone had touted its quietness, but I was somehwat
unimpressed. Then when I got a good solid lens for it the drop in
noise level was amazing. Again when I added the BP-300 grip, which
now lives on it. The combined difference is quite dramatic really.
It IS an amazingly quiet camera. It even impressed my freind wo was
shooting at a concert with me, who uses an M6.
