Hi fcc and list, I have considered buying form overseas, but I hesitate since I have no experience with this. If I'm not mistaken I would have to add the dutch sales tax (19%) and the import duties for photographic equipment (4%, I think) to the price. And of course p&p. So I have got the sneaking suspicion that the final bill may be quite a bit higher, around 850 EUR, according to a quick calculation of mine. Does anybody on the list have any experience (good or bad) in getting their photo equipment from the US and having it sent to Europe? I'm also considering buying a Donek snowboard in the US (but that's a different hobby and VERY much off topic ;-) ), so there are more reasons why I'm interessted in this.
