I have a Canon D2400UF and it's quite good.

It's also easy to use and doubles as an excellent flatbed. Overall a
good investment.

However, a digital camera like the 10d just makes things so much more
fun and easy, with excellent results. I always hated scanning, getting
film processed, etc. Not to mention I take more shots now with digital
and that makes a huge difference.

I imagine the 8000F is even better.
