Note though that the largest market (USA) plus largest dealer can
buys at much lower prices from Canon Japan -> Canon USA than a small
market plus small dealer ever could.
In general, small shops can't even *buy* from their distributor for
the price the larger shops sell for....and that's only on national
level.
But that still doesn't explain the difference between UK and mainland
Europe....otherwise NL would be even worse than the UK, given the
large market that Germany is in comparison.
