Ahh, I thought your previous post that the 0741 was listed at smallest
49 cm.   (Just a typo, I'm guessing).

I'm wondering if anyone on the list has used the Cullmann Magic Monopod
and if the "one fast twist" mechanism is really usable or might have
weaknesses?  I'm guessing from the information provided that there is a
single twist ring that controls all of the segments, or would each
segment have its own twist ring?  I'm having diffculty telling from the
visuals and descriptions.

The only review I've seen on one (at photo.net) said "Very flimsy and
the legs don't lock well."

If this is true, then the simple 0741 would seem the way to go for the
best combination of short take-down length and actual usability.
