Subject: Monopod for EOS

Hi List,

I'm looking for a light but sturdy monopod to carry on my backpack when
hiking. So where should I start looking; what brand (Manfrotto / Bogen,
Gitzo, Velbon, other?) what length, how many sections, what mount? I'd be
grateful if you could tell me which one you use, how often you use it, are
you satisfied?

Hi Stefan,

I use with my EOS 3 and EOS 1V - Gitzo G 1568 Mountaineer carbon fiber
monopod which is really very light alone or together with Manfrotto Grip
Action Ball Head Cat. no 222, Bogen Code 3265. I am very satisfied.

Bye,

Rafal
