I own and love the 70-200 4. It's a all purpose telezoom walk around lens for me.
The only thing that makes the 70 - 200 f/2,8 IS better is the f/2,8 IS ... Instead of this I bought the 135 f/2 for portrait and low light ability and am very happy. Note, I shoot the most while backpacking.
