On 18/3/06, Ken Lin, discombobulated, unleashed: >Beauty of digital! Just goes to show how the world would be a boring place if we were all the same. I can't imagine shooting like that. I very rarely delete in the field, but not for possible image corruption reasons. It's only back on the Mac can I properly assess a shot and decide if it's a keeper. In the past 1.5 years I've shot only a third of your amount. I use full speed about 5% of the time maybe, and only for sport or reportage. But even then I always try for that (elusive) decisive moment, and shy from the machine gun. I shoot video in the day job and one of the attractions of stills for me is putting all the energy into a single frame. Thanks for the insight.
