I use this mode for quiet street shooting. A first press as I approach
the subject - a second press and hold to expose the frame very quietly -
and as I'm walking away, release the hold to let the mirror return. The
actual sound of just the shutter - just the blinds being operated - is
very quiet. Akin to a rangefinder camera. But I wouldn't use it like
that all the time for the type of stuff I do...
