I've never seen the original message in this thread, but I have an opinion.
My first digital camera was a Nikon 950. That was followed by a Nikon 995, then a 300D, 20D, 5D and lastly a Powershot 300SD. I've liked my SLRs a lot, but I'm never going to touch another Canon point and shoot again. I think a constipated aardvark would be just as effective at being a digital camera as a Canon point and shoot. Mine broke, and I'm not even sure how, since I only took about four dozen pictures with it before I became so frustrated with it that I stopped using it. The Nikon 900 series cameras were possibly some of the best point and shoot digitals ever made, but the S4 swivel doesn't live up to them, which is sad. Despite that, I'd be tempted to go for the S4 anyway because the zoom lens is safely encased inside a body, and because it is a great camera for low shots and high shots. -- void *(*(*schlake(void *))[])(void *); * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
