Does anyone on this list really not understand the difference between 10mp APS sensor versus a 12mp FF sensor? I think they can both take some good pictures if the person pushing the button can frame those faces in an interesting way. More pixels of a sour face may not be as good as fewer pixels of a beautiful expression. Which sensor or camera does best with that?
It seems to me the hard part of this experiment is to shoot two cameras at the same time in order to capture the same expressions. If you don't do it at the same time then the expressions will be different, hence one sensor will obviously appear better than the other. Suppose one person happens to be picking their nose when the 5D is used, but is smiling beautifully when the Rebel XT is used. That would mean the XT pixels are better than the 5D pixels, unless of course the nose picking is really interesting. And how was it we managed to side step the potential dynamic range diatrib... er discussion? That's worth at least another couple of hundred silly messages.
