Hi Lynn,

If the leak is not too bad, I have used a Ford product:  Silicone Gasket
and
Sealant. Part # F7AZ-19554-EA   Ford Internal Fef. No. 139258.  It was
supposedly designed for their diesel engines that leaked.  Can be applied
externally to stop leaks. I  Have had good results with well cleaned parts
and a liberal coating of sealant.  Good luck!
