Alternatively, you could loosen it up and see if it (the stud) is really 
loose.   Also an oil analysis might help.  Or, pulling #3 cylinder might 
allow you to eyeball the web.  Elevated copper is a side effect of a
cracked 
center main web.  I know of one that flew at least 300 hours after a prop 
strike broke both of them loose.

BTW, semantic error on my part.  They are through studs.  They are not 
through bolts, which is sorta what I was trying to say, so no need to
loosen 
both cylinders.
