I just installed an Air wolf oil filter on my Coupe the filter mounts on the firewall. (Not hard to install) The reason I did not go with the engine mounted one is that I have an oil cooler installed on that pad and I did not want to remove it. I now have added an extra quart of oil and the filter housing is on the right side of the firewall partly in the exiting air stream of the cowling. My question is what is minimum oil temperature? Normally after flying a while my temp would go to just under 150 degrees, now the temp barely gets over 120 degrees. (approximately)
