Not a petroleum engineer. But look in your owner's manual for your Coupe....it probably advises 80wt oil. Not 100wt. However, until recently the 80wt oils had no anti-corrosion additives, so I used a multi-weight oil with the additives. But now Shell makes an 80wt oil with its package of anti-corrosion additives. I've switched to this. It's the correct weight oil and should help the engine resist corrosion better than an untreated oil. Plus I use CamGuard too. Why try to save a few bucks with your engine oil?
