Something special I saw in the wonderful video of the two German Ercoupes: one of the very close closeups of a Coupe in flight showed that it had a snubber cable (no surprise) but also showed that the nose gear was turning continually while in flight.
I suspect it is because the nose wheel is high enough to be partially in the slipstream.
