OK, I'm gonna show my ignorance now, so be gentle with me.

My neighbor's setting up a wireless router, and he's invited me to share bandwidth on his internet connection.

PROB: all my pci slots are full.

My first thought was, why isn't there some kind of USB hookup that would work?

Found something called "D-Link," which seems like it might do the trick--but in all its description and specs, there's no actual definition of what's required or what it does.

'Fraid I'm woefully backwards on Bluetooth technology, too. Did a google, and know a little more about it--but I'm still uncertain if this D-Link device will work on its own, of if I need additional Bluetooth hardware in my box. Also seems to be a 10-meter range limit, for the Bluetooth chip. Is this true?

Bringing my query here 'cause y'all seem to be the Mount Olympus of computer geekology.
Thanx a meg, for your attention,
M
