My experiences with USB wireless solutions have been less than satisfactory.
A Linksys support tech recently responded to an inquiry stating that he
doesn't even recommend the Linksys USB WiFi adapters.

If you are able to maybe move one of your PCI cards to a USB solution, then
insert a PCI WiFi adapter e.g. WPC54G
