I'm just wondering logically, since my controller didn't completely die, the MOSFETs popped and I was then able to drive back home (albeit rather conservatively), isn't that confirmation that the gate driver circuit and resistor are ok? I mean, wouldn't that have totally stranded me if it also shorted?
