This is why I like my 77 2.5 ton El Camino driving in Montana through a foot
or more of snow with no problem. People from Florida move next door that
had a baby buggy VW bug that could not back out of there drive way! We do
not plow snow until it gets over a foot.

They could not make it up the steep hill which I drive every day to the Hill
Top Café which is on a hill and sometimes through a foot or more of snow.
So they bought a 4 wheel drive pickup where you need a latter to get in.

One day I was park and a person came into the Café said he back up into the
EV. His car is a bull nose with plastic bumpers that was all crack up when
it hit my bumper which is over 1/8 inch thick steel with another 1/8 inch
inner liner with 3/16 inch steel reinforcing and two 1/4 inch thick 6 inch I
beam mounts to the a 6 by 8 inch 3/16 inch frame.

There was no damage to my bumpers at all. I thought bumpers are made to be
bump not break up with a little tap.
