I was wondering about where that gas station having EVSE connection came
from too. I did not see it in the thread either.

Since I sieve through the recargo listings (form one end to the other),
I have seen listings that state there are EVSE at petrol stations.
Sadly, there were a few in Utah that are level-1 with a 1 hour time
limit, located just outside the pumps.

Level-1 for 1 hour is not going to you get far. It would have been
better to install a standard level-2 EVSE that the driver pays for with
a 4+ hour time limit and install it well-away-from and upwind-of the
carcinogenic-nasties in petrol fumes.
