As I posted on this thread http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Tesla-plugs-into-new-market-with-home-battery-system-tp4675237p4675242.html
Tesla is not just selling their new product for homes, but for businesses too. So for me (IMO), it is not whether the cost of their product is a good deal. It is that more and more used batteries will eventually be made available for people to get at a more affordable price. Meaning the source for reclaiming packs won't just be smashed/crashed production plugin vehicles. There now will also be used battery systems to compete and bring used battery prices down, down, down. This will make doing a conversion that much less expensive, thus more of them will be done :-) For EVLN posts use: http://evdl.org/evln/ {brucedp.150m.com} -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Tesla-plugs-into-new-market-with-home-battery-system-tp4675237p4675255.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
