I did a test drive in a tesla Y yesterday. Overall, very nice car, as
one would expect.
I did have one concern, that may seem silly. The headrests tilt too far
forward and I don't think I can sit for more than 30 minutes without
having serious neck pain. If I buy this car, I definitely plan to drive
it 2-3 hours without a break.
Here's a photo someone posted on reddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/RealTesla/comments/gvi1nx/tesla_should_probably_stop_making_model_ys_until/
Unfortunately, it's integrated with the seat and completely non
adjustable. I felt up between the seat and the rest and there's a flat
steel bar somehow attaching the two.
I understand the reasoning: essentially to ensure that your head is
touching the rest to minimize concussion and to ensure your neck doesn't
get bent backward in a rear collision.
Regardless, I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion on finding someone
to bend it about 10 degrees back. Or some other idea.
