I don't see the relevance. It's true that Evolution only seeks the local
maximum not the global maximum so there are many things it has never and
will never find (for example a macroscopic part that can move in 360
degrees), however I know for a fact that consciousness is not one of those
things because I know for a fact that I am conscious.
