Probably, you get some interesting partial clones, to present to the world. I
am not guessing that the human mind gets restored, though, there may be good
reasons why it would work via cryonics. In addition, my suspicion is that data
about everything, somehow gets written to 'memory' and that would include all
people, places, and things, animal, vegetable, mineral. Brains, brain states
and minds. Your method is far simpler and earnest. That the brain is restorable
and the rest of the body with the brain. My sense of things is that will be a
great, copy-paste restoration. but such an event is ages away, as in centuries
and millennia. It numbs my pea brain, however, the potential for new
discoveries in astronomy and physics, will lead the way through all this. Your
way is a long way down the road, and mine is much farther. Sometimes, I am in
the mood for all this, and at other times, not so much. It is intriguing.

The highest cost physiologically is that it partially works.

I am hoping that restoration is somehow doable. The cost physiologically (
ha ha!) Is that it don't work.

There could also be a physiological cost.

There is a 13 min scifi short on youtube, that shows what happens to
a couple, a century after their demise, after cryonic revival. Call
it the price many would be willing to pay if cryonics really worked.
Also, note that, if one believes in a heaven, and their
beliefs are absolutely correct, the emotional effect is just the
same, with cryonic revival, heaven, or uploading to a virch
environment. There is a kind of psychological cost, but most are
good with this, if we only had a good option.

I wish I could be more confident but that's the best bet I
could find. And as I've said if at does't work at least it
                 won't make me any deader.

But it could make you worse off.
