Just as an FYI, we are running over 600 users on a single box and 75% of them are coming from remote sites with T1 or ISDN lines. 2 of our sites have 60+ users accessing their mailboxes over T1 lines. We didn't see any major issues with 5.5 and now that we have upgraded to Exchange 2K3 and enabled Outlook 2003 cached mode we have even better performance.
