Just as an FYI, we are running over 600 users on a single box and 75% of
them are coming from remote sites with T1 or ISDN lines. 2 of our sites
have 60+ users accessing their mailboxes over T1 lines. We didn't see
any major issues with 5.5 and now that we have upgraded to Exchange 2K3
and enabled Outlook 2003 cached mode we have even better performance.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Bob

Conversation: 5.5 Move Server Wizard
Subject: RE: 5.5 Move Server Wizard

Thanks Missy. Don't get me wrong here I'm always grateful for good
advice, but I suspect I shall stay on the over cautious side and keep
their mail local.

I'll look into the cross-site mailbox move method. So long as it will
pull stuff from a 5.5 server in one site to a 2003 server in another
site that should do the trick.

If I do it that way I'll have to visit at some point so I can take care
of any Outlook Profile issues at the same time.

thanks,
Paul
