Thank you for all the replies. PF have not been a strong point in my
Exchange experience. Especially in my current job that is still in a mixed
PF environment. I do not understand why PF have not been moved off the 2003
server by now. Looks like I should have finished the job when I first got
hired here.
You are right about the developer having a backup of the application. Looks
like he is relying on the Exchange backups as his "code" is in the form in
the inbox of the PF. I am not in the know here.

To re-state the procedure I would have to use, using your outline from the
prior message. I would dismount all three of the PF DB's, two in the 2010
environment, 1 in 2003. Remove all three from Exchange. Restore a backup to
one 2010 mb server and mount it. Remount the second 2010 PF and the 2003
PF. re-add the replicas.
Hope this would work.

I need to get a better understanding how 2010 PF works with two MB servers.
