  To me that's always one of those grey areas. Legally they are on leave. If 
they start working, there could be issues.

  We let the supervisor know the pros and cons and let them decide. Forward to 
someone of the supervisors choice or disable the account and email until they

  What do you do for employees when they take maternity leave?

  Do you leave their email active and forward a copy to their 
supervisor/manager?

  I am thinking that if I allow email to flow to the employee's mailbox it 
could quickly reach the mailbox limit.
