        You need to verify that your drive does, in fact, have 1108
cylinders.  While I'm sure a mountable partition will not affect boot, you
may see issues down the road when you go to compile, tar, or archive.
Several folks on other lists have commented that fdisk has reported bogus
cylinders beyond reality.  The average symptom seems to be an inability to
"make".  
        Any idea what your partition table was like under 6.0?  I do not
recall if you stated that you've repartitioned or not....
        As far as the lilo thing goes, you may try generating a boot disk,
verifying that it works, and then use DOS fdisk and run "fdisk /mbr" to wipe
the FAT.  You will need to reinstall LILO at that point.....
