It does if you select to allow it. Fortunately, it isn't selected by default and thus is setup for superior security in that regard. HTML email IS equal to spam email. If you use HTML email, particularly if you are setup to read HTML email, then you are assured of receiving pr0n spam as well as any and all other types of spam. Perhaps I will start sending HTML-based emails to those list members who keep posting it with a web bug incorporated in my email. I will get your IP address at the moment you read it and can then run, let's say...Nessus, against you. Or start ping-flooding your IP address. Something to indicate why HTML is a bad idea except for a VERY limited number of circumstances. Mailing lists and newsgroups are two places where HTML email has no place at all. praedor -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+X7umwDUPEkSvRHERAkNfAJ9Uq1bSYOE48PI6S1DcNbZ9OSDnUwCgkGd4 3njYbFSfkZ4xMLbT4jS8XVA= =Pf3y -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
