BUT ....
9.1 has been and is my favorite version to date. It is perfectly stable for me on three different boxes.
My home box is an epox 8kta3pro based athlon 1700+ ati tnt 2 32 mg video, soundblaster live system,
everything works perfectly. my sony vaio pcg-fx215 laptop is also perfect. my work box is used in a
information management production environment, running an asus mb, and is similar to my home box ,
but it's also just dandy. YMMV, still even though some things are a bit different and this is a list to help fix problems, MDK 9.1 is very good and an improvement for many of us out here in the real world, and is much better than XP or any other win products. So I had to learn a couple of new steps, at least my hardware works under MDK 9.1 ( my tv card at home will even display better in MDK )
instead of just complaining , why not say hey this is my problem with this hardware, how do I fix it?

I don't want to say this, but I have to say it because it is the truth.
For users of 8.2 or maybe even 9.0 there is no cogent reason to upgrade
to 9.1, if you are seeking a stable production system.
