Probably not. I've endured the deluge of Cooker email for a while now and can tell you that once 9.2 hits beta, it's all bug fixes until release time. If you want it in, it'll have to be before the first beta.
Maybe I'm wrong (heaven knows that's happened enough :-), but I thought the odd numbered kernels (2.1, 2.3, 2.5) were experimental kernels anyway. 2.4 is stable and 2.6 will be stable braches.
