I'll take a rambling shot at lower F500 car counts. Now this is a generalization, not trying to piss off anybody here. I think it's the type of people who are attracted to F500 in the first place. This is a low budget, low commitment type of racing, you don't need huge amounts of support equipment and much in the way of dollars to get into it. So I think it attracts people with marginal budgets and or time avail.in the first place and when financial or life situations change it's real easy to just park the car for a while and do something else.
