Just to add what I have seen. I have on more than a few occasions had to get out of my own car and push it into a grid spot because the volunteers were either,
1) not knowing I didn't have reverse (happens a lot) 2) too busy directing traffic to help me 3) could not physically push my car (there are a fair amount of women helping out there and some older folks) I think a sticker is a good idea..... I have a copy of the 1985 Sports Car and Formula Specifications and it is only 65 pages long. Apparently the GCR was a separate book. There was a claiming rule then, if you had a piece of crap that could barley get out of it's own way, and wanted a nice fast car, $6,870.00 would get you the other guys car.
