The cost of road racing is stopping me from doing it.
That's why I want to stick with solosprinit and autox. I can go for 1 day or two at an entry cost of ~100 per day. I can run as hard as I want (read afford), and I can go home at night as I choose. I pull my car with a VW Golf, so that is cheap, and I do almost all my own repair work. Although I can't afford to go toe to toe with hard core road trackers, I can have fun on a road course anyways.
