John - just set the timing to the factory setting the best you can. I
made
a dial indicator holder out of an old spark plug. Worked great.
Last time I had that stuff apart, I set it pretty much in the middle of it's
range. I think, I read on this list that was pretty close to factory
setting. If that is the case, I'll happily leave it there.
